Decoding of the architect Mélanie Lallemand Flucher ": "On the street side, the house is traditional and pretty, you enter this house on the floor slightly above the street level through a small English courtyard and a century-old horseshoe staircase. The garden below is a real surprise for the visitor because it is totally hidden from the view from the street and also reveals an old wooden workshop which recalls the authenticity of the district while bringing the charm of a "house of campaign. "On the garden side, the two façades echo one contemporary and the other outdated.

Decryption of the architect Mélanie Lallemand Flucher: "The vast and convivial kitchen is totally open to the living areas, to give it an alcove in spite of everything, its ceiling is lowered and painted in a soft colored gray which extends vertically on the back wall. The many storage tips are not lacking: the skirting boards of 18 cm are in fact drawers, the glasses benefit from cupboards at eye level very shallow so that they are always always at hand, the coffee maker and kettle are in a recess of the work plan to be almost not seen, what looks like a table Mondrian is actually a cupboard dedicated to food. The colors are similar to those of the house: warm wood, gray lacquer and white just like the furniture. "

Decryption of the architect Mélanie Lallemand Flucher: "The parental room is the only room in the house that has not undergone a big transformation. The wall of the entrance to the room has been advanced to create a vacuum that goes directly above the laundry basket lingerie on the lower floor and a mini dressing room hidden by the sliding door. This mini dressing room replaces the wooden valets of yesteryear to deposit his clothes of the day. When the sliding door of the room is open the mini When the bedroom is closed, it is open - a way of always having to carry a storage space that remains invisible when you move from room to room.

The wall of the headboard is painted in a colored gray drawing very slightly towards the plum. We find this tone on the bed linen, the curtains and the frame of 4 views of Paris in watercolor. Similarly, the reading lamps attached to the headboard are in an olive green that is also found on the curtains, the frame of the watercolors and the bouquet of dried flowers.

Blue diodes hidden under the bedside lights can light up to the ground for the night lifts without risking to wake up his neighbor.

Japanese-style curtains are fixed in a small groove that hides the rail. Each of the three panels attenuates the light at different intensities so as to play with them by sliding them in front of one another according to the desired black.

Only old element of the room that has been preserved: the parquet which is of origin. "
