This urban habitat has undergone an extreme makeover to improve the quality of living and storage spaces, as well as traffic flow.

A custom-made carpentry work made it possible to adapt a host of practical storage spaces, maximized to the ceiling, especially throughout the main hallway. A sliding partition and an office alcove testify to a desire to optimize all available space.

Open kitchen and glass walls now separate the entrance, living room and dining room, letting the light move from one living space to another. The layout thus frees space and light as much as possible.

Wrapped in elegant white, the apartment is punctuated by encounters of colors and prints. The space is animated with contemporary touches that outline the contours, forms and lines of a living environment full of energy.

The whole spirit of the apartment lies in a subtle and complex dialogue between publisher furniture, glass walls, wallpapers, tiles and lacquer color.

The ornamental details are chosen with a great concern for harmony, to accompany the development in a global decorative concept.

Color as the red thread of this renovation

The predominant colors, blue, orange and yellow, respond from one room to another. Lively and contrasted, this colorful trio invests the place ritually, which gives a lot of life to the whole.

These colors represent a leitmotif from which black and gray are organized. The color is expressed in large flat areas to emphasize a wall, a partition or an alcove, or draws lines in space, on a shelf or in patterns on cushions and decorative objects.

The details invest the apartment, reminding here and there a color anecdotally, as a signal. We particularly like the blue glass walls tinted by the studio Azimut, which resonate in the main living space.

Hybrid materials to structure space

Matte, translucency and lacquered shine follow each other and intertwine in an eclectic texture, skilfully organized. The kitchen is a fine example of this mix of materials: mat furniture, marble worktop, metal hood, glass wall and lacquered dining table, create a dynamic hybrid set.

A set of lines and prints

Cole and Son Wallpapers and Mutina Tiles, present in most rooms, are strong elements of animation, which accompany the color to give full character to this apartment.

It's with black and white that the wallpaper makes a place in the heart of the pieces, with a delicate graphic that softens the colorful bright set. In the bedrooms, a cleverly finished Cole and Son wallpaper appeals to the playful mix and match of geometric prints on textiles.

In the kitchen and the bathroom, the tiles put, meanwhile, sometimes on the graphic and colorful force, sometimes on the subtlety, in a style always resolutely contemporary.
