How to clean your cooking plates?
Having a gleaming kitchen goes through the daily maintenance of the hotplates. Gas, electric, induction or vitroceramic hobs, your cooking equipment undergoes the onslaught of burnt fats and food projections of all kinds. It is therefore imperative to clean them regularly.

Clean an electric plate
The electric plates are cast iron. Better to pay attention to them to prevent them from rusting. Clean them daily by wiping off dirt and applying a paste of baking soda. For this, mix bicarbonate with a little water and spread the mixture on your plates. Wait half an hour and rinse with a soft sponge soaked in hot water. Shine with a dry cloth.
To protect your electric plates against rust, pass on the cast iron a rag moistened with a little vegetable oil.
If your plates are rusty, pour lime on the rust and cover with salt. Wait half an hour and rinse.
Maintain an induction hob and ceramic hob
These plates are fragile and require careful maintenance. Clean your plates after each use with a damp sponge. To remove traces of food, use water mixed with a little white vinegar or lather a white stone. If thick stains have burned, use a wooden scraper or soft plastic and then proceed as explained above.
Clean a gas plate
Maintaining a gas hob is very easy. Remove the burners and immerse them once a week in a soapy water bath then scrub. If they are dirty, add white vinegar and leave them for several hours. Put the racks in the dishwasher and then soak in a bath of water, white vinegar, baking soda and coarse salt. After one night, your grids will be like new.
